Applesauce Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 1/2 c. applesauce
    2 c. flour
    1 egg
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/2 c. nuts
    1 1/2 c. raisins
    2 tsp. soda
Preparation
    Cream sugar, eggs and shortening.
    Add vanilla and applesauce. Alternately add flour, raisins and nuts.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 50 minutes.
    Bake in a well-greased and floured Bundt pan or layer pan.
    Ice to your liking.
