Sharon Kamerath'S Vanilla Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 sq. butter (not margarine)
    1 (1 lb.) pkg. light brown sugar
    2/3 c. canned milk
    1 (1 lb.) pkg. minus 1/4 c. powdered sugar
    1 c. nuts
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    In heavy saucepan, melt butter.
    Add brown sugar and milk; stir.
    Bring to boil; cook for 3 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat; let cool 2 minutes.
    Add powdered sugar; beat until smooth with electric mixer (if electric mixer isn't used, powdered sugar must be sifted).
    Add vanilla and nuts.
    Spread immediately in buttered pan.
    Yields 34.
