Low Country Bread Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 loaf French bread
    3 c. sugar
    1 small can evaporated milk
    2 c. homogenized milk
    3 sticks butter or margarine
    3 tsp. cinnamon
    1 3/4 c. dark raisins
    4 large eggs
Preparation
    Desserts were almost
    always
    made at home since stores were few and had limited supplies on the Sea Islands.
    Because refrigerator was lacking

    was only made during the cold months when it
    was
    placed outside on the porch overnight for jelling.
