Seafoam Icing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 egg whites
    2 1/4 c. or 1 lb. brown sugar
    5 tsp. water
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Combine whites, sugar and water in top of double boiler.
    Beat well to mix.
    Place over rapidly boiling water and beat constantly until mixture stands in peaks (about 7 minutes).
    Remove from heat.
    Add vanilla.
    Beat until right consistency.
