Fresh Rhubarb Bake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. chopped fresh rhubarb
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. shortening
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. cinnamon
dash of salt
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. sour milk
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Combine rhubarb and 1/2 cup sugar; set aside.
Cream shortening, 1 1/2 cups sugar, egg, cinnamon and salt.
Add flour and baking soda alternately with milk and vanilla.
Add rhubarb mixture.
Pour into greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 60 minutes or until done.
Best if served warm with ice cream!
