Old-Fashioned Lemonade - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 to 7 lemons
1/2 to 3/4 c. sugar
1 qt. cold water
Preparation

Thinly slice 2 lemons.
In 1 1/2-quart pitcher, combine lemon slices and 1/2 cup sugar.
Press the fruit with potato masher or wooden spoon to release juice.
Cut and squeeze remaining lemons to get 2/3 cup lemon juice.
Pour juice into the pitcher with cold water and stir.
Taste, add more sugar, if desired.
Makes 4 servings.
