Sour Cream Coffee Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 sticks butter or margarine, softened
2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 c. sour cream
1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
3/4 c. chopped walnuts
1 tsp. cinnamon
4 Tbsp. brown sugar
sifted confectioners sugar for top (optional)

Preparation

Grease and flour tube pan.
Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Cream together the butter and sugar.
Add eggs, sour cream and vanilla; mix well.
Sift together the flour, baking powder and salt.
Add dry ingredients, blending thoroughly at medium speed.
