Microwave Pecan Pralines - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 c. sugar
    1/3 c. light corn syrup
    1/4 c. water
    1 1/2 c. coarsely chopped pecans
    1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
Preparation
    In
    medium
    glass
    bowl, combine sugars, corn syrup and water; heat
    7
    to
    9 minutes on High until mixture reads 238\u00b0 (soft ball
    stage)
    when
    tested
    with
    a
    candy thermometer. Important: Do not use candy thermometer in dish while operating
    the microwave oven.
    Stir in pecans, butter and vanilla. Let
    stand 2 minutes.
    Drop by tablespoonful onto well-greased wax paper lined cookie
    sheet; chill until set.
    Yields about 1 1/2 dozen.
