Sugar Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 1/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. oleo
1/2 c. shortening
1/2 c. white sugar
1/2 c. powdered sugar
1 beaten egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. almond

Preparation

Stir together thoroughly flour, soda, cream of tartar and salt. Cream the oleo, shortening, white sugar and powdered sugar together.
Add dry ingredients slowly to creamed ingredients.
Add egg, vanilla and almond.
Make into small balls.
Press down with a buttered glass (take one with a decorative pattern on bottom).
Dip glass into sugar before pressing down onto cookie.
