After Holiday Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. rice (instant or cooked)
    2 tsp. instant minced onion
    1/2 pkg. or 5 oz. frozen green peas
    1/2 c. finely diced green pepper
    6 slices turkey
    1 (10 3/4 oz.) can cheese soup
    1 c. milk
    1 c. finely crushed cheese crackers
    3 Tbsp. melted butter
Preparation
    Prepare rice according to directions on box, adding minced onion to boiling water.
    Fluff rice with a fork and spread in a 1 1/2-quart utility dish.
    Defrost peas and drain.
    Sprinkle peas and green pepper over rice.
    Cover with turkey.
    (You may break turkey into small pieces or leave in slices.
    Chicken can be used.)
    Mix soup with milk and pour over turkey.
    Combine crumbs with butter and sprinkle on top of casserole.
    Cover dish with plastic film and cook in microwave oven for 12 minutes, turning dish every 3 minutes.
    Let stand, covered, 5 minutes before serving.
