Potato Kugel - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 large potatoes
    1 large onion, cut fine
    3 large eggs, beaten
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    2 tsp. margarine
    1 small onion, grated
    1/2 tsp. sugar
    1 hard roll (soaked in water and then squeezed dry) or 2 Tbsp. flour and 1 Tbsp. farina
Preparation
    Grate potatoes and small onion fine.
    Saute large onion in fat. Add eggs and remaining ingredients.
    Pour into 2-quart Pyrex casserole.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 until brown and crusty on top, about 1 1/2 hours.
    Serves 10.
