Apricot Nectar - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (46 oz.) can apricot nectar
    1/2 lemon, sliced
    2 cinnamon sticks
    15 whole cloves
    8 whole allspice berries
    2 (7 oz.) bottles low-calorie ginger ale (less than 1 calorie per 8 ounces)
Preparation
    In saucepan, mix all ingredients except ginger ale; heat to boiling.
    Reduce heat.
    Simmer gently 5 minutes.
    Remove from heat. Cover and let stand 30 minutes.
    Strain and chill.
