Egg Custard - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. milk
    4 eggs
    2/3 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Scald milk.
    Add sugar, vanilla, salt and well beaten eggs. Put this in custard cups or 2 pie shells and bake at 400\u00b0 until a knife comes out clean.
