Never-Fail Pie Crust - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. flour (measure unsifted)
    1 c. lard
    1 tsp. salt
    5 Tbsp. water
    1 Tbsp. vinegar
    1 egg, beaten*
Preparation
    Add salt to flour; mix, then cut in lard until crumbly.
    *Put egg in bowl, add vinegar and water and beat with beater.
    Add to flour ingredients and mix.
    Yield:
    two (2-crust) pies.
