Golden Cornbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. cornmeal
    1 c. flour
    1/4 c. sugar (optional)
    4 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 egg
    1 c. milk
    1/4 c. oil
Preparation
    Mix all dry ingredients; add liquid ingredients and stir until well mixed.
    Bake in greased 8-inch square pan at 425\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes until browned.
