Orange Raisin Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1 egg
1 Tbsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. seedless raisins
1 orange (do not peel)
1/2 c. Crisco
1 c. buttermilk
2 c. flour

Preparation

Grind orange and raisins and set aside.
Cream sugar and Crisco and beat in egg.
Sift flour and salt; stir soda into milk. Add alternately to sugar mixture.
Stir in 3/4 of orange mixture and vanilla.
Bake at 350\u00b0 until done.
