Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. warm water
    1 pkg. yeast
    1/4 c. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. shortening
    1 egg
    3 1/4 to 3 1/2 c. sifted flour
Preparation
    Measure into a bowl the warm water.
    Add and stir yeast.
    Stir in sugar, salt, shortening and egg.
    Mix in flour.
    Place, greased side up, in a greased bowl.
    Cover with damp cloth and place in refrigerator overnight.
