Fresh Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 1/2 c. water
1/8 tsp. salt
1 c. plus 2 Tbsp. sugar
3 Tbsp. cornstarch
2 Tbsp. strawberry jello
5 drops red food coloring

Preparation

Mix together water, salt, sugar and cornstarch.
Cook until thickened and add the strawberry jello and food coloring.
Let cool and pour over berries in cooled pie shell.
