Applesauce Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 1/2 c. applesauce
1/2 c. shortening
2 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 1/2 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. cloves
1/2 tsp. allspice
1 c. raisins
1/2 c. walnuts
2 tsp. soda
1/2 c. boiling water

Preparation

Cream shortening, sugar and eggs; add other ingredients.
Put soda in boiling water.
Pour into greased and floured tube pan. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 to 60 minutes.
