Sherry Cheese Sauce - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. skim milk
1/8 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. dry mustard
1/4 tsp. ground red pepper
pinch of nutmeg
2 Tbsp. cornstarch
4 Tbsp. sherry
3 oz. Gruyere cheese, grated (about 3/4 c.)
Preparation

In medium saucepan, over high heat, combine milk, salt, mustard, pepper and nutmeg.
Bring to boil.
In a small bowl, combine cornstarch and sherry; stir until well blended.
Stir cornstarch mixture into saucepan mixture.
Reduce heat to low and cook until thickened.
Remove from heat and stir in cheese.
Serve over vegetables.
