Pineapple Custard Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/3 c. sugar
1 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 (8 oz.) can crushed pineapple
1/2 c. sugar
9-inch unbaked pie shell
1/4 c. pecans, finely chopped
2 eggs
1/2 c. milk
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1 tsp. salt
Preparation

In saucepan, blend sugar with cornstarch.
Add pineapple (including juice).
Cook, stirring constantly, until thick.
Set aside and let cool.
In a mixing bowl, blend cream cheese, sugar, and salt (preferably with electric mixer).
Add eggs, one at a time; stir well after each.
Add milk and vanilla.
