Heavenly Bananas - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 Tbsp. butter
    6 firm bananas
    1/4 lb. cream cheese
    4 Tbsp. sugar
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 c. heavy cream
Preparation
    Melt butter in a skillet.
    Peel the bananas and slice each one lengthwise.
    Brown quickly over high heat.
    Place half of banana slices on bottom of a buttered pie plate.
    Cream the cheese until soft.
    Add sugar and cinnamon, beating until light and smooth. Spread half of mixture on bananas.
    Place the remaining bananas on top, then spread with remainder of the cream cheese mixture. Pour cream on top.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 20 minutes or until almost all of the cream is absorbed and top is lightly brown.
    (Do not allow all of the cream to be absorbed or will be too dry.)
