Five Layer Dinner - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. chopped onion
    1 c. cooked ground meat
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1 c. cooked tomatoes, sliced
    1 c. cooked corn
    4 Tbsp. grated cheese
    1 Tbsp. shortening
    2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. chili powder
    1 c. cooked string beans
    4 medium potatoes
    1 tsp. chopped parsley
Preparation
    Cook chopped onion in fat until tender.
    Add meat, 1 teaspoon salt, pepper and chili powder; blend.
    Place in greased 1 1/2-quart casserole.
    Place potatoes over meat.
    Add a layer of string beans, then corn, sprinkling each layer with salt.
    Place sliced tomatoes in layer over corn.
    Top with cheese and parsley. Cover; bake at 350\u00b0 for about 25 minutes.
    Serves 6.
