Ingredients

1 lb. butter or margarine
1 c. sugar
3 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 to 2 c. potato chips, finely crushed (use any fresh or stale plain unflavored, salted or unsalted, ruffled or thin, but not barbecue or sour cream, etc.)
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Cream butter until very soft.
Blend in sugar well.
Add flour and mix well.
Stir in vanilla.
Blend well.
Stir in, by hand, potato chips.
Drop on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake for 10 to 15 minutes.
Dust with powdered sugar when mostly cooled.
