White Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. dry yeast
    1/4 c. lukewarm water
    1 1/2 Tbsp. salt
    1/3 c. sugar
    1/2 c. shortening
    2 c. boiling water
    7 c. flour
Preparation
    Dissolve shortening, sugar and salt in boiling water; cool to lukewarm.
    Dissolve yeast in lukewarm water; add to lukewarm mixture.
    Sift flour; add to liquids.
    Knead well.
    Cover with wet towel in warm place; let rise until double.
    Punch down; turn on floured board and knead well.
    Make 2 balls.
    Form into loaves. Let rise.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes.
    Makes 2 loaves.
