Pound Or Plain Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 sticks butter
1/2 c. Crisco
3 c. sugar
5 eggs
3 1/4 c. plain flour, sifted with a dash of salt
3/4 c. evaporated milk (finish filling cup up to 1 c. mark with water)
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. lemon flavoring
Preparation

Cream the butter and Crisco.
Add sugar and cream together. Then add eggs, one at a time, beating well.
Add milk and flour, a little at a time.
Add flavoring.
