Italian Boneless Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 beaten eggs
    2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
    1/2 c. bread crumbs
    4 c. finely shredded chicken (that has been cooked for about 1 hour in salt water)
    3 Tbsp. margarine
    1/2 c. diced onion
    1/2 c. diced green pepper
    1 Tbsp. cooking oil
    2 (15 oz.) cans tomato sauce
    1 tsp. sugar
    1/2 tsp. Italian seasoning
    1/4 tsp. dried basil, crushed
    1/4 tsp. garlic powder
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    2 c. shredded Mozzarella cheese
Preparation
    Combine eggs, Parmesan cheese and bread crumbs.
    Stir in chicken; mix well with hands and shape into 3/4-inch patties.
    In skillet cook patties in margarine over medium heat for 2 or 3 minutes per side or until golden brown; drain.
    Arrange in baking pan.
    Cook pepper and onion in oil until tender.
    Remove from heat.
    Add 1/2 cup water and remaining ingredients, except for Mozzarella.
    Spoon sauce on patties.
    Sprinkle with Mozzarella. Bake at 350\u00b0 uncovered for 25 minutes.
    Serves 6.
