Pecan Chess Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. sugar
1 stick oleo
3 eggs
1/2 c. chopped pecans
1 unbaked pie shell
5 Tbsp. milk
1 Tbsp. cornmeal
1 tsp. vinegar
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Melt oleo and add sugar.
Beat in eggs, milk, cornmeal, vinegar and vanilla.
Stir in pecans.
Pour into shell and bake at 375\u00b0 about 20 to 30 minutes.
Pie is done when knife inserted in middle comes out clean.
Turn oven off and let pie completely cool in oven (overnight is best).
