Mexican Corn Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. cornmeal
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. buttermilk
    2 eggs, beaten
    1/2 c. melted butter or margarine
    1 medium chopped onion
    1 (17 oz.) can creamed corn
    1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
    1 chopped jalapeno pepper
    6 slices cooked, crumbled bacon
Preparation
    Heat iron
    skillet with bacon grease (left from cooking the bacon).
    Sprinkle
    a
    pinch of cornmeal in pan until brown (to know when pan is hot).
