Round Steak Sauerbraten - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. round steak, 1/2 inch thick
    1 Tbsp. oil
    2 envelopes gravy mix
    1 1/2 c. water
    1 tsp. minced onions
    2 Tbsp. vinegar
    2 Tbsp. brown sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. ginger
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1 bay leaf
    noodles or rice
Preparation
    Cut meat into strips.
    In skillet brown meat in oil.
    Remove meat from skillet; add gravy and water bringing to a boil, stirring constantly.
    Stir in remaining ingredients except noodles.
    Return meat to skillet.
    Cover and simmer for 1 1/2 hours.
    When done, serve over hot noodles.
    Makes 4 to 5 servings.
