Strawberry Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 pkg. strawberry jello
    2 c. boiling water
    10 oz. frozen strawberries
    1 mid size can crushed pineapple
    1 (8 oz.) cream cheese
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    1 medium Cool Whip
Preparation
    Dissolve jello in boiling water.
    Set aside 1/4 cup jello. Add pineapple and congeal.
    Cream sugar and cream cheese.
    Add vanilla and Cool Whip.
    Mix with the 1/4 cup jello mixture. Spread on jello.
    Sprinkle with nuts if desired.
