Lemonade Concentrate - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 lb. sugar (approximately 4 c.)
rind of 4 lemons, peeled with potato peeler
juice of 4 lemons (the juicier the better)
1 oz. tartaric acid (approximately 3 Tbsp. from pharmacy)
boiled water
Preparation

Put sugar and lemon rinds in a large bowl and cover with boiling water (enough to cover lemon rinds).
Add lemon juice and tartaric acid.
Let stand in refrigerator for 24 hours.
Strain and bottle.
Dilute with cold water to taste.
