Potato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 medium potatoes, diced
    1 medium onion, diced
    1/4 stick butter
    salt
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1/2 lb. Velveeta cheese
Preparation
    Cover potatoes and onion with water.
    Add salt and butter. Cook until tender.
    Mash with potato masher.
    Add cheese and soup. Simmer 10 minutes.
    Stir while cheese melts.
