Lazy Fruit Cobbler - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 c. self-rising flour
    1/2 c. milk
    1 stick butter
    1 qt. sliced fruit, sweetened with 1/2 c. sugar
Preparation
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Melt butter in a 1 1/2 or 2-quart casserole dish.
    Mix flour, sugar and milk together.
    Pour into dish on top of butter.
    Do not stir.
    Add fruit to top.
    Do not stir.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
    Serve warm with whipped cream of ice cream, if desired.
    Makes 6 to 8 servings.
    Use this recipe for any seasonal fruit.
