Chow Chow Relish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 qt. ground or chopped cucumbers
    1 qt. ground green tomatoes
    1 qt. ground cabbage
    2 c. vinegar
    1 Tbsp. flour
    1 Tbsp. hot peppers
    1/2 c. salt
    1 tsp. black pepper
    6 medium onions, ground, set aside
    2 c. sugar
    1 qt. prepared mustard
    1 tsp. turmeric
    2 Tbsp. pickling spice
Preparation
    Combine
    cucumbers,
    tomatoes,
    cabbage
    and salt.
    Let stand 3 hours.
    Drain as much juice as possible.
    Add onions, vinegar, sugar, flour, mustard, hot peppers and turmeric.
    Tie in a bag the pickling spice and black pepper.
    Bring it all to a
    hot
    simmer. Pack
    in
    clean
    jars and seal at once.
    This relish compliments pork meat, hot dogs and hamburgers.
