Beef Pot Roast - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 shoulder roast
    1 medium onion
    flour for batter
    salt and pepper
    4 Tbsp. oil
Preparation
    Heat oil in a large pan.
    Batter roast with flour on both sides.
    Salt and pepper to taste.
    Place roast in hot oil until brown on all sides, turning as needed.
    Cover roast with water. Add chopped onion.
    Cook until roast is very tender and the flour makes a gravy.
