Holiday Honey Snaps - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. shortening
    2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1/2 c. honey
    4 c. sifted flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. soda
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. vanilla
    sugar
Preparation
    Cream shortening and 2 cups sugar in a bowl until smooth. Beat in eggs and honey.
    Add dry ingredients and vanilla, mixing well.
    Shape into 1-inch balls.
    Roll in sugar.
    Place 2 inches apart on baking sheet.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes, or until lightly browned.
    Yields 5 dozen.
