Strawberry Jello Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 small pkg. strawberry Jell-O
    3 c. boiling water
    1 lb. frozen strawberries
    1 (16 oz.) can crushed pineapple (don't drain)
    1 c. mashed banana, diced and lightly mashed
    1 c. broken nuts (walnuts)
Preparation
    Mix ingredients.
    Pour one-half of mixture into a 13 x 9 x 2-inch glass cake pan or dish.
    Let set in refrigerator, then spread a layer of sour cream over set mixture (soften the sour cream with several gentle mixing strokes).
    Pour remaining one-half of Jell-O mixture over sour cream.
    Let set in refrigerator. Serve.
