Curried Fruit - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (1 lb.) can peaches
    1 can pears
    1 can pineapple chunks
    1 can apricots
    maraschino cherries
    slivered almonds
    1/3 c. butter
    2/3 c. brown sugar
    2 tsp. curry powder
Preparation
    Melt butter; add brown sugar and curry powder.
    When melted, add the fruit and bake in a 325\u00b0 oven for 1 hour.
    Stir two or three times.
    Refrigerate overnight.
    The next day warm again in oven.
