Savory Dried Cranberry Sauce(To Be Served With Pork, Chicken Or Ham) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. firmly packed light brown sugar
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 c. dry white wine
    1/2 c. chicken broth
    1 tsp. balsamic vinegar
    1/2 c. dried cranberries (not fresh)
    1/8 tsp. dried tarragon
    2 tsp. minced fresh parsley plus sprigs (for garnish)
Preparation
    In a small saucepan, whisk together the brown sugar and the cornstarch and add the wine and broth, whisking until the mixture is smooth.
    Add the vinegar, cranberries, tarragon and salt to taste.
    Simmer the sauce, stirring occasionally, for 15 minutes. Stir in the minced parsley and simmer the sauce for 1 minute more. Serve either with the meat or cover meat with sauce and then cook (grilled is excellent) or pan-fry pork with sauce covering the meat.
    Makes 1 1/4 cups.
