Poverty Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. flour
2 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. soda
1/2 c. white sugar
1/2 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Mix and put in square Pyrex cake pan or a round casserole. Mix 1 cup brown sugar and 2 cups hot water and pour over the batter.
Bake 30 minutes at 350\u00b0.
This makes its own sauce. Serve warm or cold.
