Lasagna - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. ground beef
    3/4 lb. Italian sausage
    2 (15 oz.) cans tomato sauce
    1 (1 lb.) can stewed tomatoes
    2 (6 oz.) cans tomato paste
    2 Tbsp. each: basil and oregano
    1 clove garlic, minced or pressed
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    salt and pepper to taste
    15 oz. Ricotta cheese
    12 oz. small curd cottage cheese
    2 eggs, beaten
    1 1/2 lb. Mozzarella cheese
    1 c. Parmesan cheese, grated
    3/4 pkg. lasagna noodles
Preparation
    Brown and drain beef and sausage.
    Make meat sauce in large saucepan with tomato sauce, tomatoes, tomato paste, basil, oregano, garlic, lemon juice, sugar, salt, pepper, beef and sausage.
    Simmer over low heat, uncovered, for 30 to 40 minutes.
