Basic Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 sticks butter
    3 c. sugar
    8 eggs
    3 c. all-purpose flour, sifted
    1 tsp. almond or vanilla flavoring
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar, mixing well. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add flour, stirring in a small amount at a time. Pour into greased and floured 10-inch Bundt pan (can use a tube pan). Bake at 300\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
