English Trifle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Sara Lee pound cake or ladyfingers
    1 box instant vanilla pudding
    fruit (fresh or canned peaches, strawberries)
    8 oz. Cool Whip
Preparation
    Make pudding ahead and chill.
    Chunk pound cake and layer in large compote with pudding and fruit.
    Top with Cool Whip; refrigerate overnight.
