Fresh Apple Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. flour
3 Tbsp. baking powder
1 Tbsp. salt
2 c. sugar
1 c. vegetable oil
4 to 5 cooking apples, pared
2 1/2 tsp. vanilla
4 eggs
1/4 c. orange juice
1 Tbsp. cinnamon
3/4 c. additional sugar
Preparation

Sift flour, baking powder, 2 cups sugar and salt.
Combine with remaining ingredients (except cinnamon, 3/4 cup additional sugar and apples) in bowl; beat well until smooth.
Pour half of batter in greased tube pan.
Spread half of pared, sliced apples over batter.
Mix cinnamon and additional sugar; sprinkle half over apples.
Add remaining batter, apples and sugar/cinnamon mixture.
Bake at 325\u00b0 to 350\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
Let cool before serving.
