Ice Cream - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    2 c. half and half
    5 to 8 eggs
    2 c. half and half
    1 tsp. vanilla
    dash of salt
    1 can sweetened condensed milk
Preparation
    Combine sugar and 2 cups of half and half in a saucepan; stir until sugar is melted.
    Beat in eggs and slowly add to
    hot mixture, stirring constantly.
    Cook and stir until slightly thickened.
    Chill.
    Add 2 cups of half and half to vanilla, salt and sweetened condensed milk.
    Pour into freezer container and add enough milk to fill 2/3 full.
    Freeze.
