Franklin Nut Cake(White Fruit Cake) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. butter
    2 c. sugar
    6 eggs
    4 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 lb. candied cherries
    1/2 lb. candied pineapple
    1 lb. pecans
    2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar until fluffy.
    Add beaten eggs.
    Add 3 cups of the flour (sifted with the baking powder and salt).
    Mix remaining flour with cherries, pineapple and broken nuts.
    Stir into batter.
    Add vanilla.
    Pour into tube pan that has been greased and lined with wax paper.
    Bake at 250\u00b0 for 3 hours.
    Let cool in pan.
