Applesauce Muffins - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter or margarine, softened
2 eggs
2 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. ground cloves
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. applesauce
Preparation

In a mixing bowl, cream sugar and butter.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Combine dry ingredients; add to the creamed mixture alternately with applesauce.
Mix just until combined.
Fill greased or paper-lined muffin cups 2/3 full. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes.
Cool on a wire rack.
Yield: about 1 1/2 dozen.
