Raisin Bran Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (15 oz.) box Raisin Bran
    3 c. sugar
    5 c. flour
    4 eggs
    5 tsp. baking soda
    2 tsp. salt
    1 qt. buttermilk (room temperature)
    1 c. salad oil
Preparation
    Mix all dry ingredients in a very large bowl.
    Add eggs, buttermilk and oil, beat together.
    Mix well with large spoon until all ingredients are wet.
    Store in covered container in refrigerator.
    Grease muffin tins and fill 2/3 full when ready to bake.
    Bake 15 minutes at 400\u00b0.
    This dough will keep for 6 weeks in refrigerator. Half recipe is enough for many households.
    I bake right away.
    Then when cooled, I arrange on meat trays, 6 on one tray.
    Wrap with plastic bag and freeze.
    Makes 4 dozen.
    Can be made in small muffin tins.
    Great for luncheons.
