Barley Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. quick-chopped barley (fine)
    1/2 c. margarine
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1/2 c. almonds
    1 pkg. onion soup
    2 c. chicken broth
    15 oz. can water chestnuts
    3 oz. drained mushrooms
Preparation
    Heat (saute) barley, margarine and onion until golden.
    Add last 5 ingredients.
    Put in casserole dish and cover.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
